Hello, I am looking for a wonderful family to help care for their little one! I am 26 years old and I've grown up taking care of children. I love caring for little ones and helping them reach their milestones both physically and educationally. I have four younger sibling who I grew up caring for along with multiple family friends children. I currently have 6 years experience working with kids from birth to 13-year-old including working at a learning center & private preschool. Most recently I worked with a family including a 1 yr old and newborn twins, I have loved working with this family but unfortunately they are moving out of state. I do have my own transportation and am able to be flexible to cater to your family's child care needs. I have a resume and references from past families if you would like copies of both. Dahlia applied to my job for a part-time nanny, and we had a good conversation (video call interview) about her experience and the needs of the job. I told her that I'd like to invite her for an in-home paid trial visit. However, she became unresponsive when I was trying to schedule the in-person visit with her. I followed up after 2 days, and she told me that she was no longer available. I feel like Dahlia wasted my time and should have been a better communicator. It seems like I might never have heard back from her if I didn't follow up. This came across as very unprofessional. Dahlia seems passionate about childcare, but it also seems like she has a lot going on in her life. I was excited to meet Dahlia and see how she would interact with my son. I wish she would have been more upfront sooner if she wasn't interested or available for my job.
