About Renee

Hi! I'm a former teacher for grades PK3 - 8th grade. I have bachelors degrees in Physical Education & Wellness, and English Literature, along with a minor in Art. I spent the majority of my teaching career at a school in Tampa, FL that is also a model school for international educators. I'm certified in the IB Programme for elementary education, and in Art for middle grades. Additionally, all teachers were required to take classes in Gifted Education, so I have experience in working with the unique experiences of the gifted population. I can teach beginning piano and guitar , as well. I've lived in San Francisco for 4 years, and love this city! I've worked as an office manager for the tech community here, but have missed working with children. In my free time, I love the outdoors, making , writing , and reading (I'm a scholar of children's literature, and am currently writing 2 children's books). I look forward to hearing from you!
