About Rebecca

Now that I have retired as a paralegal in the legal field for the past 38 years, I have discovered my natural talent as a caregiver. I gravitate towards the elderly and have developed a deep connection with the them. I had an opportunity to move in and care for a 94-year-old female who had Alzheimers for a period of 1-1/2 years, prior to her recent passing. Since then, a passion ignited towards the care for senior citizens. I just love them! I take pride in being patient and calm, creating a serene environment for my person to thrive. My friendly and approachable nature allows me to build strong relationships with both my person I am caring for and their family members. I believe in open communication and making sure keeping the family updated on their loved one either through text messages or phone calls, whichever is preferred. I follow directions well and am very comfortable trying different approaches if there is difficulty in getting instructions met.
