About Rebecca

I am recently graduated (2020) with a Bachelor's degree (not related to childcare/teaching). I have worked in food service for a while and am looking to change paths to something that is, in my opinion, more rewarding and something I've discovered to be a passion of mine. While I do not have any official childcare experience, I have taken care of my younger sibling since he was brought home from the NICU (he's six now) whenever my parents needed my help. I have done his laundry, helped him clean his room, prepared meals for him, helped teach him how to walk and talk, provided comfort, changed his diapers, helped potty train him, helped him learn how to be brave, given him baths, helped him with his homework, read him stories, helped him discover his preferences in regards to music and television. I love my experience looking after my brother and want to delve deeper into working with children, as it can be very rewarding and I enjoy a challenge.
