I've taken care of my mom for the last 6 years full time. I supported her with making her appointments, bringing her to doctor , paying her bills, doing the grocery shopping and preparing meals, feeding her if needed, bringing her out for entertainment, playing games with her to keep her entertained at home, doing her laundry, light cleaning and helping her with her hygiene route and she loved it when I painted her fingernails. I also set up her medication and administered it to her along with taking her sugar levels, blood pressure and took her INR readings and called them into the hotel line . It brought me great joy to be able to care for her in her final years.
