About Rebecca

I was born right here in Lansing, but I lived in Georgia near Atlanta for the last decade. I have always had a knack and a passion for childcare. I grew up in a large family, so from the beginning I was responsible for helping care for my younger siblings. In college I worked as an ASP teacher and floater for a nearby daycare. This fueled my interest in early childhood development. I went on to achieve my B. S. in Psych focused in childhood development at Kennesaw State University. For the 21-22 year I was an Art Teacher in an Elementary After School Club, and this job was so rewarding. However, after a family tragedy, I decided it was best to come back home and build my life and career here. I have spent the last year working for a wonderful family and caring for their first child. They won't be needing me as often because the grandparents have retired and will be helping.
