About Rebecca

Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I am a licensed Elementary teacher with over 8 years of classroom teaching experience from Kindergarten through high school in public, private and charter schools. I love kids and teaching (!). I am taking this year away from the classroom to be home with my new baby and am now taking on new tutoring students. I specialize in math and reading intervention, with a strong record of success in raising student grades at least 2 grade levels on average and improving student outcomes in all subject areas. I have all my own learning resources and materials including fun learning games and other hands on activities to make learning fun! I believe every child is unique and has their own learning style and strengths. I seek to help my students access those strengths and interests to do their best learning with joy and confidence. I consider myself a joyful, lifelong learner and hope to inspire the same in all my students!
