My goal is for your children to be independent through confidence. They have a much different atmosphere than just 10, 5 or even 2 years ago. They need the truth (hint: it's not easy), and to build good work habits. They need to be 'taught' how to study and how to filter immense amounts of data. They need that push that turns a 1-hour session into and an hour of resetting their minds on how to think and perceive. Math is an incredible tool to help get back to those priceless tools of Reasoning and Sense-Making. That's what I'd like to bring to the table. My TIME is dedicated to developing the chemistry needed to stay focused and to inspire independence in my students. I do not guarantee anything and no tutor should. I want them to think "I can do this AND SUCCEED." Tutoring is all about Reasoning, Sense-Making, Independence, Convenience, ease of scheduling, communication and peace of mind. Ray was an excellent tutor. He was patient, response and thoughtful and gave frequent updates on my daughter’s progress. He was great at making sure she had a good grasp of the fundamentals for her 6th grade algebra math class. I would definitely recommend him. He tutored my daughter online because of the travel distance and I know we would have benefited even more from his approach in person.
