I'd describe my personality as calm, fun, creative, organized, funny and proactive! I like working with kids because they bring me happiness. I love watching them grow and achieve their milestones. I am a mom of a smart 5 years old girl and an energetic 7 yo boy. We love all animals. I started working with kids when I was in college, I worked as an Au pair when I first came to the US for 2 years. After that, I have worked as a toddlers teacher for 5 years, 4 of them in a Montessori school. In my spare time, I like to stay with my family, go hiking with them and practice the martial art I started 20 years ago. One thing you should know about me is I am also a children's yoga teacher. I love yoga and sharing the great teachings of this art with children My skills include lots of art and craft experience, super patient, calm and present.

Raquel has babysat my two daughters multiple times now and they love when she’s here. She keeps them both engaged through play, yoga and music. She is even able to put my difficult 3 year old to bed while we are out. I would recommend Raquel for your childcare needs.
