About Rachel

I am looking for my next adventure as a full time nanny. I am currently a high school teacher looking for a career change. I am hoping to take a gap year or two as I rediscover my passions and work towards an online master's degree. I've had 6+ years experience in childcare. I've nannied for 3 families in the US(New York City, Utah and Idaho). The children ranged from 6 months to 8 years. I adore children and have a specialty working with infants. I have a bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. After graduation, I spent 1 year teaching at a middle school. I am currently in my 3rd year as a high school culinary teacher. I spent 3 summers working as a lifeguard and teaching swim lessons. Last summer I was the supervisor of a swim lesson program and have a passion for teaching about water safety. I would love the opportunity to talk with your family about a position in your home. I will be completing the current school year and be available starting June 2024.
