About Rachael

In my teaching experiences, I have worked closely with students with a wide range of learning abilities and exceptionalities: developmental disabilities as autism, emotional and behavioral challenges, complex medical needs, and students with learning disabilities. As a special education teacher, I have implemented teaching strategies and techniques through small group instruction, co-teaching, through applied behavior analysis, positive behavior supports, individualized and differentiated instruction, and assistive technology, which has allowed me to provide direct support based on the needs of each student. I believe in creating a learning environment where success and growth is achievable, and curriculum is accessible. It is my goal to focus on the strengths, objectives, and needs of your child, and to design a learning space where they are empowered, encouraged, and supported.
