About Mystique

As an educator, my goal is to ensure I do my best to teach each and every child by accommodating their individual needs and intelligences, while providing instruction in a way that makes each child feel heard and understood. I will do my best to teach effective study techniques, as well as time management skills, that students can use beyond my sessions, helping them to gain confidence in their abilities and making them more willing to participate in classroom lessons and conversations. Most of all, I hope to instill a passion for learning and a curiosity that motivates students to learn beyond the classroom and throughout their everyday lives. I have been teaching for 6 years, working with students in both the general education and substantially separate settings. I am dual licensed as both an elementary teacher for grades 1-6, and a Special Education teacher for grades pre-school - 8th, and have taught both in person and online. I believe I have what it takes to make a difference.
