About Rachael

I am an experienced environmental educator and childcare professional who is hoping to help out a family full or part time while I search for work in the conservation and natural resources field. I have worked with all ages, from toddlers to high school students, but age 4-12 is my preferred range. I have previously worked for San Joaquin County Outdoor Education and the Town School for Boys in San Francisco. I have also worked as an Outreach and Engagement Coordinator for CSU, delivering STEM programming to Denver metro schools and communities. I love hiking, cooking, crafting, singing, being outdoors, animals, playing games, and teaching kids about nature. I am a registered yoga teacher and love incorporating movement and mindfulness into my day. I am CPR and Basic First Aid certified. I have experience doing active risk management in my work with students in the outdoors and practice positive discipline techniques.
