About Phoenix

I like caring for seniors because from the time I was young I've always had close relationships with my elders. I enjoyed taking care of them. My first job was working as a nurses aid in a retirement community. I have provided direct care for family members who have suffered from dementia, diabetes & Parkinson's. I started caring for seniors when I was 16 years old in a nursing home in Illinois. In my spare time, I like to work as an heirloom gardener, chef, musician & writer. My skills include companionship, cleaning, and cooking. I am more than happy to help in any way that I can and that of course includes housekeeping as time allows. My primary focus is of course, always on the care and safety and happiness of the person that I am there for which will receive 100% of my focus at all times. I am currently enrolled in Red Cross, first aid and CPR training and will be accredited soon.
