I have experience caring for children from 5 months old to 9 years old. I know how to change a diaper, and I know what creams to use in case of a rash. I do not have any experience taking care of disabled children, but I would love to learn! I like to meet with the parents and children before I start babysitting so the children see me, and that gives me a chance to meet the parents as well. I am a firm believer that children's parents are the ones to decide on disciplinary action, I usually talk to the parents about their restrictions when I meet them. I will only go as far as time out, or no more screen-time. If the child needs a bath or anything like that, I am comfortable with bath-time duties.
