Flavia is the best nanny we ever had. (And we had several over the years.) As the kids aged, she transitioned to being our all-around-house assistant. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say. I'm not joking. She is perfect in every way. I'd keep her employed forever if I could. Singing her praises would take quite a while. I'll share a few: 1) She is extremely reliable.In the seven years she has worked for us, she was never late. I mean never ever ever. She also only missed 2 or 3 days due to illness in all those years. 2) Flavia is an amazing cook. I can give her any recipe, and she can make it. She is from Brazil, which means her lasagna is out of this world. She is also health conscious. 3) Flavia is an incredibly generous, kind, and lovely person, inside and out. She loves our family, and we love her back. Even though she will move on to another family, I know she will be a part of our lives forever. 4) She is smart! She studies economics on the side. I am a perfectionist and a highly organized professional woman. I kid you not, if I ask her or show her something one time, she learns it and never forgets. She reminds me of appointments that slip my own mind! Unbelievably organized and sharp. 5) Dog lover. She walks our dog every day as well. Makes her grooming appointments. Buys her food. Showers her with love. 6) Flavia runs all our errands and shops for groceries. She learns the ins and outs of your kitchen and remembers to buy things that don't make it to the list. She washes the kids clothes when needed. She folds like she is in the military! 7) She is honest. She has your back. She is an invaluable set of extra adult eyes during the teen years. If she sees something fishy or concerning, she tells me in confidence, so that I can appropriately intervene. This comes from a place of loving and caring for my kids and their well being. 8) Flavia makes the best gift baskets you've ever seen. Give her a budget and she'll prepare one for that new baby or graduate celebration or birthday. Her gift wrapping skills are top-notch. 9) Flavia can throw a party. Her cheese plates and party planning skills are next-level. 10) She made my daughter the best Halloween costume ever (a candy vending-machine). My daughter showed her a photo and Flavia helped her make the whole thing. Amazing. As you can tell, I am in love with Flavia. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. If you need a nanny or amazing assistant/cook, you should meet her. You won't regret it.
