About Patricia

I have 3 years (6 semesters) experience tutoring Business Calculus at the Math Assistance Center at IUPUI. I was a Pure Math major. In college, I have taken Calculus 1, 2, 3, Differential Equations, Linear Math, Physics (Mechanics and Thermodynamics), Biology 101, Psychology, Writing req., 1 year of German. I love math, biology, writing, physics, and learning in general. I love children and people in general. And I am very good at explaining how to do things. I was such a good tutor at the M. A. C. at IUPUI, that, even though I have not tutored since Spring semester of 2018, I still have people periodically stop me on the street and ask me where they know me from .... Invariably, it is because they were tutored by me at the M. A. C. We're all naturally curious. We like to learn new things. Unfortunately, various negative experiences can take the fun out of learning. I look forward to helping students reclaim their wonder and a sense of their own capability. Namaste, Patricia
