About Breanne

Hi! I'm Breanne and I like tutoring because my favorite part of grad school was mentoring other students, giving them foundational knowledge. I love when something clicks, especially something that has been giving a student trouble for a while. It is why tutored throughout all of my schooling. My skills include science (biology, chemistry, physics), math (pre calculus, algebra, geometry), and test taking/time management skills. Creating relationships with students/parents is very important to me. I've kept students their entire high school career and siblings from the same household. That gives me a lot of joy. I started tutoring when I was a sophomore in undergrad 10 years ago. If I am uncomfortable about the level of understanding after a session, I make it a point to communicate that so that we can create a plan for success. It isn't fun struggling in class and I've been there, so I will always be compassionate and empathetic about struggles as much as I will celebrate successes.
