About Nancy

I have 30 years experience working in Special Education in NC Public Schools. I am dual certified in both Elementary Education ( with a concentration in Science) and Special Education ( with a Master's degree in Severe/Profound Disabilities). I also hold a current teaching certification in B-K (birth-kindergarten). During my career, I have worked with nearly every age group from Preschool to age 21. I am a very caring and compassionate person who loves to make a personal connection with my students to be able to motivate them to excel and learn while always having fun and enjoying themselves :) I love being able to make a difference in a person's life and seeing the joy and happiness they experience when they succeed in meeting their goals ! I am outgoing, friendly, happy, silly , fun, and positive with my students.
