About Mya

I love working with kids because they bring so much joy and energy into my life. I love being able to engage with them, play games, read stories, and help with anything they need. I find it fulfilling to be there for them and every child is different where I can have the opportunity to connect with them individually and understand their needs and interests. Overall, being around kids brings out the best in me, and I cherish the opportunity to be apart of their life. I started working with kids when I started babysitting for family friends and people in my community. I started around the age of 15 and I'm now 20. Over the years I have had the opportunity to babysit for many different families that allowed me to care for various ages. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of child development and effective caregiving practices.
