About Monika

Hello! Most recently, I have worked with children/adolescents ages 4 to 14 at a residential treatment facility (RTF) for kids with behavioral concerns for the last 2. 5 years while in graduate school. I am still finishing up one last class this summer for my Master's of Social Work before being able to sit for my licensure exam. I also received my Master's of Public Health this May and my undergraduate degree in also in Social Work. I have worked with children and teens for 5+ years. Aside from my most recent position at the RTF, I've worked at and even run an after school program at a small community center. Over the last year I also completed a Social Work internship at a hospital in outpatient oncology, working with older adults with cancer diagnoses. I have an extensive Social Work background and now work full time as a dialysis social worker but like to babysit on the side because I miss working with kids!
