About Roger

Hi I am Roger, I have 9 years childcare experience. I was a full time teacher for the School District of Philadelphia . I have worked in the district for 9 years and decided to go back to school for nursing. I have worked with children between the ages of 5 and 12, with most of my time being spent with children between 5 and 8. I have some babysitting experience as well, mostly looking after the children of family members. I have also done a bit of private tutoring, again mainly with children between 5 and 12 years of age. I have previously been the director of gross motor activities (physical activities) for the YMCA's summer camp program. I worked there in the summer of 2010. As the physical activities director I planned, implemented, and adapted activities, such as sports, games, relay races, and other fun physical activities for children ages 5-14. I strive to help children succeed in developing their academic, social and life skills.
