About Monica

I am a trustworthy, energetic and very loving person who truly enjoys caring for children. I have many years' experience in care-giving, with infants, young children and also children and adults with disabilities. I have a sister with cerebral palsy who I have been caring for my whole life. I love the outdoors, taking children for walks, and creativity and imagination is always on my day plan. I am a 10 year volunteer catechist teacher for my parish. The most challenging aspect of the job will be understanding and adjusting my role to ensure the needs and expectations of the family are met. The most rewarding will be developing a relationship that includes trust and dependability that benefits both the child and the family; bringing a sense of security to the parents during the period of time I'm caring for their children.

We originally wanted Monica for part time care, but our schedules weren't able to be synced. We kept in touch and on a few occasions Monica was able to provide back up care for us! She was so wonderful with our son -- he was always so happy and carefree when I walked in the door, I knew he was in good hands! She was always our first call for back up care! Thanks Monica!
