About Gina

I am a fun-loving, kind, and empathetic caregiver who is 55 years young. I have been working with kids and families most of my life. I started out in child care and then went into education. I taught pre-school, 1st-grade, Reading Enrichment to all ages, and then became a specialist in the Reading and Learning field. I often took on part-time work to help families, most recently during my 6 year hiatus from education 2 years ago in Portland when I went full-time as an artist. I have also taught kids yoga as well as art classes. I bring a lot of love and patience to my work with kids. I believe play, exploration, emotional intelligence, creativity, and kindness are extremely important to a child's development. I am flexible, reliable, and like to work as a team with parents.
