About Mitzy

I am currently a Para with the NYC Department of Education and have a degree from New York University. I have experience working with Pre-K to 5th Grade, as well as college level writing. I am also a MPhil candidate at Trinity College Dublin. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, engaging, and kind. I like tutoring because it's a chance to show a student how they can approach material from a different angle, allowing them to have a better understanding. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work weekends as well as during school breaks. I started tutoring when I became a tutor with America Reads/America Counts while at NYU in 2022. In my spare time, I like to read and write in my free time! I self-publish and edit work for others. One thing you should know about me is I live on Long Island but can travel anywhere in Manhattan easily. My skills include ICT experience, experience with elementary curriculum, and college level writing under the guidance of a novelist.
