About Margaret

Hello there! I tutored elementary and middle school students through a program called America Reads/America Counts in all subjects but mainly focusing on math, reading, and writing. Additionally, I was a personal tutor for students that I nannied for, giving me a lot of practice with students with a variety of skill levels, attention spans, and learning styles. At this point, I have over five years of tutoring experience with students from kindergarten through high school, and although capable of tutoring a wide range of subjects, I'm most passionate about English, Literature, Math, and anything to do with sociology and political science as that is what I earned my degree in. Because of my passion for children and their education, I love being creative with my students and coming up with learning plans to best suit the student's needs, as each student is unique.
