About Aquila

Hi! I'm Aquila, a Mathematics major/ Chemistry minor at NYU and experienced tutor passionate about helping students build confidence and excel in math and English. I've worked with students ages 7-16, providing personalized support for school coursework, standardized tests, and overall skill development. I spent a year working with America Reads in a public school, where I provided one-on-one and small-group tutoring to strengthen students' literacy and math skills. In math, I cover fundamental concepts through advanced topics, ensuring students grasp problem-solving techniques and test strategies. In English, I focus on reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and critical analysis to enhance academic performance.
