About Miranda

Hi there, I'm glad to see you here! I'm Miranda and I absolutely love working with children! I am originally from Florida, but moved to California in 2019. I have about 3 years of paid experience, however I've been a "caretaker" for most of my life. Starting young, I volunteered at a church nursery, as well as took on tutoring the younger grades and being the "on-hand" babysitter for many family members. Once in high school, I dual-enrolled to complete my Early Childhood Professional Certification I. I began working at a daycare as a floater to earn work experience, and I was there for 6 months. In California, the experience I have consists of a teaching job at an after-school program that I was at for about a year, and babysitting on and off for a family for 4 years. I've always found fulfilment in this field and would love to continue developing my skills and knowledge. My future plans are to continue my education in Child Development and Psychology.
