About Christy

I'm Christy, a compassionate caregiver with a strong foundation in developmental psychology and social work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, I have undertaken coursework toward a Master's in Social Work at Columbia University, enriching my understanding of human development and social support. My professional experience includes working at a residential treatment center for adolescent boys and a community center in their nursery school, after school program, and interviewed seniors in regards to food insecurity. I was described by a previous supervisor as "smart, hardworking, and caring." I recently relocated back to California after providing care for a family member with dementia in Arizona. This experience enhanced my ability to offer support to seniors. Known for my love of learning, I enjoy incorporating activities such as reading and exploring nature into my caregiving to enrich experiences.
