Hello! My name is Michelle. I am a Fairfax County teacher. I love learning with children, crafting of all kinds, playing games and sports, and exploring local parks and the library! I have previous experience working in the infant and toddler rooms at daycare. Additionally, I have worked with children of all ages at summer camps prior to becoming a teacher in 2012. I also have experience working with children with special needs both in and outside of the classroom. Most recently, I have watched several children 3+ and under (including an infant 15 weeks old!) in the local community. (I'm happy to provide you with these references.) I also have my own car so I would be happy to help with transportation or other responsibilities that may overlap with your family's child care needs. We trusted Michelle with our very first babysitting experience for our 15 week old daughter. Michelle did an excellent job and we would definitely have her sit again and recommend her to others. She was punctual, a good communicator and very sweet with our daughter. Michelle took our baby through her bedtime routine when she is very fussy and Michelle did great job soothing her and getting her to sleep. We chose Michelle because of her experience with newborns and her qualifications as a teacher and were very glad we did. Thanks!
