About Melissa

I've helped raise my two wonderful nieces. The oldest one for 5 years and the you youngest for 2 years. I have experience with newborns all the way to the age of 15. I have a cheerful personality, and love spending time with children. I like to take the kids to the park, do hands on activities, dance, sing (even though I'm horrible hahaha), anything the kids enjoy. I received an A. A in social and behavioral science. I'm comfortable with pets and some light house cleaning. I respect other peoples values and have great communication skills with both children and adults. I'm currently nanny/babysitting for 2 families and have babysat for an additional 7 more families. 2 families had to move but I'm so grateful to have built a bond and we still keep in touch. I believe that the first five years of a child's development is very important, I do my best to guide them in a skillful, and learning environment.
