About Melisa

I am a passionate and dynamic Spanish and ESL teacher with over 17 years of experience working with students of all ages and levels. Most of my experience is in teaching Spanish and ESL, but I also tutor elementary-level subjects, including science, reading and writing, math, and core curriculum support. I've worked with large groups, small groups, and private students, tailoring my approach to meet individual learning needs. As a native Spanish speaker and fully bilingual educator, I specialize in making language learning engaging, effective, and culturally enriching. My teaching style is creative, interactive, and student-centered. I hold a BFA in Dance and a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis on Technology and Innovation. I studied yoga in India and I'm a certified yoga instructor, with additional training in Yoga for Kids and Restorative Yoga.
