About Melanie

I'm a different type of learner. I was the type of student that completely understood the assignment but would test very poorly due to having dyslexia. I had to learn in a different way than most people due to my condition. I'm very patient and kind. I'm willing to work with those troubled kids who feel misunderstood, who are smart but doing poorly in school. I've been there so I know how to help. On the other hand, I used to tutor my peers back in high school with math and history. Those are my 2 best subjects. I'm also well rounded with musical instruments. I grew up in a private school and we had a band where I learned to play almost every instrument. My top instruments for teaching would be guitar, ukulele, drums, and a little piano.
