About Meggan

Hello! I'm a licensed elementary school teacher with 17 years of experience and a masters degree in reading for K-12. I have taught grades kindergarten through sixth, and enjoyed all age groups. I also have two young children of my own, so I have lots of experience with little ones. My passion for caring for children stems from my desire to make a positive impact on their lives. There is nothing as precious as watching a child learn something. I'm known for my patience and calmness, and I follow parents' preferred communication methods to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed promptly. I also believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing rules and expectations. I enjoy playing board games and puzzles with children, as well as educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children, ranging in age from infants to 11-year-olds. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and only speak English.
