About Nellie

I've been working in childcare for 15 years because I'm passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children. As a caregiver, I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I believe in open communication with parents and provide written daily reports and verbal updates at pickup. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborns to preteens, and am comfortable caring for children with special needs. I'm also fluent in both English and Spanish. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and have current CPR and First Aid certifications.
