About Megan

Hi! I love children and have experience caring for newborns through teens. I have an elementary education background with focuses on special needs and also reading. Safety always come first followed by having fun while learning and playing. I prefer outdoor activities and burning off energy with the kids, but I also love sitting outside on a picnic blanket reading stories. In a previous job I was the children's specialist and story time lady at a bookstore. I carry a "bag of tricks" that's really just a rotating collection of stories and arts and crafts and science and nature stuff. I cook and expect to do some light housekeeping as part of my duties. I'm very comfortable with pets. I have my own two kids, J and L who are becoming amazing adults. Lets get to know each other so we can talk about how I can best meet your needs!
