About Megan

I am a highly motivated and organized individual with an expertise in creating warm, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environments for children. For the last 6 years I have been a Montessori Primary teacher in a private school in Los Angeles and recently relocated to Boulder! As a Montessori teacher I enjoyed helping my students to become not only academically competent but thriving, confident, and well-rounded children, who greeted challenges with excitement and curiosity. I have particular expertise in developing literacy skills for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade students and particularly enjoy helping children to develop social/emotional skills, navigate difficulty and conflict with grace, and the development of independence skills. I am happy to provide references from previous families upon request! Schedule: I am hoping to find a family that is looking for care 2-3 days per week and am flexible on the days.
