About Megan

Hi, I'm Megan. I recently moved to Laporte in August. I graduated from CSUMB, in May 2024 with a BA in Psychology. Before, I lived in San Luis Obispo for six years. My mom's family is from Paso Robles, where most of my relatives still live. I have three brothers and one sister, and a great group of nieces and nephews, aged 9 to 21. Babysitting them over the years has inspired my love for working with children. I'm passionate about helping children with their education and well-being. I believe it's important to encourage kids to play outdoors, connect with nature, and stay active. A few years ago, I worked at a Montessori preschool, caring for children from 9 months to 5 years old. This experience was fulfilling, allowing me to nurture their academic and social development in a hands-on setting. Working with children keeps me energized and motivated. It's incredibly rewarding to support their learning, growth, and discovery. I'm excited to continue helping children in any way I can.
