About Leah

I was a summer camp counselor in northern Minnesota in 2021 and supervised kids 7-13, and a camper there for the previous 9 years. More recently, this past summer, I worked at the Youth Sport Camps on campus and mainly supervised kids aged 6-8, but I was around others aged 9-13. I also babysit for a group in my church with 6 kids, aged 1-3. After that, I nannied for a family from Care for a year and a half until they just recently moved. He was 4 months when I began and is now a year and a half! I also watched one of my pastors kid last spring who was 8 months when I started and turned one right as I finished. I love kids because they are so goofy and they see everything with an open mind. It is so easy to get caught up in the chaos of everything going on in life, but kids allow me to let my inner child out and just have fun. I love caring for little ones because it makes me realize how much impact I can play in their lives and reminds me that love is special.
