About Megan

I am a friendly, patient, and considerate high school science teacher with more than a decade of teaching experience teaching chemistry and physics to all levels of students. I can help with homework, lab reports and study strategies to help students prepare for challenging tests. I have a wealth of experience working with English language learners and am great at making science topics accessible to students speaking any language. I have a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, both from UCONN. I have industry experience at Unilever and Hasbro, helping me to make learning science relevant and relatable. I am able to tutor via teleconferencing to be more flexible for student and family needs. My skills include understanding students' learning needs, making connections with students so learning is relevant, and differentiating instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of each learner.
