About Maykenzie

I grew up with my own mom as a nanny throughout my entire childhood and into my adult life, and I truly believe her love of caregiving has been instilled in me from the start. I find the ability to witness and be actively part of a child's growth to be an incredibly rewarding experience. My background in care includes a range of children from 1-15 years old, starting back from babysitting in my youth to nannying in my late teens and early adulthood. I also spent several years running support in creative arts settings, and that is a big component of my skillset in working with children. I am also a huge animal lover with a background in special needs and exotic care, having worked in dog daycare and rescue facilities and with wildlife in a science museum and the Oregon Zoo.
