Mary took care of my Mom with dementia full time from Dec 2019 to June 2020. Mary was a blessing to our family and most importantly for my Mother. Mary was well equipped to care for my Mom in the final stages of dementia and I was put at ease knowing she was there caring for my Mom. She took care of my Mom like she was her own mother. She took her for outings such as getting ice cream, going to the fish store, took her for walks, went to the park, baked cookies, played with Play-Doh, all ADLs, laundry, and kept the house extremely clean. My Mom ended up needing a hospital stay during COVID and Mary did not think twice about going to the hospital to stay with her while I was working. Mary spent the last two weeks of my Mom's life living with her as she became bed bound and needed 24/7 care. Mary offered to provide 24/7 care and am so thankful for what she did for my Mom and me. Caring for someone bed bound is extremely difficult and she did this with ease, what a blessing.
