I worked for LAUSD Beyond the Bell for 2 years, at an after school program for middle schoolers. My job was to help with homework, test preparation, etc. Along with conducting activities to keep the children busy. Recently I just completed my internship at Child Development Institute where I was working with families and children from the ages of 0-6 by leading activities such as story time, exercises, healthy eating programs, etc. Besides my jobs, I am experienced in working with/babysitting kids since I was very young, due to having a big family. The first diaper I changed was when I was about 8 years old... There are many children in my family that I have babysit from a very young age, until today. Working with children is my passion and hope to soon incorporate it into my professional career.
