About Desiree

My name is Desiree, I am currently in my Masters/Credential program through Grand Canyon University for Early Childhood Education. I graduated from CSUN with a B. A. in Deaf Studies and minored in Child Development. I speak English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. This past year, I got married and purchased my first home in Santa Clarita with my husband. My husband is a proud military veteran and currently works as a police officer. We enjoy camping, off-roading, and really anything outdoors! I also love my girly things too, like getting my nails done and shopping! Through my schooling I have learned so much about how to communicate effectively with young children. Understanding their development has made such a difference in how I interact with them. My goal is to be someone your child feels safe with above all. Babysitting has been such a rewarding job for me and my family as we have been lucky enough to form meaningful relationships with the families and children in my care.
