About Mary Jo

I have worked in elder care my entire career. But more importantly, I was a daughter of a devoted father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at 65yrs. old. That's when my professional passion turned deeply personal. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, caring. I like caring for seniors because they nourish my soul as I nourish theirs. It gives me great satisfaction to have the privilege of caring for an elder. I'm looking for a job that is not just a job. It is my calling and something I want to do and not have to do. I started caring for seniors when I was in college in 1983. In my spare time, I like to hike, spend time with family, play games, watch sports, visit friends. One thing you should know about me is it's not how much I know but how much I care. My skills include being relational, understanding, creative and solution oriented.
