About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, and open minded. I like caring for seniors because I love learning new things and meeting new people with varied backgrounds. Seniors have so much knowledge they can impart to a younger person. My own grandparents have passed away and I find comfort in giving care to those that need it. I'm looking for a job where I can be of most benefit. My heart is in service work and a caregiving position is such a rewarding way of being useful. I started caring for seniors when my friend's father started to suffer the decline of dementia. I was able to be a companion to him as well as allow for his wife and daughter to get things done on their own knowing he was safe and cared for. In my spare time, I like to make art, enjoy time with my son, or spend time in nature. My skills include patience as a companion to those suffering with dementia and alzheimer's, mobility assistance, and help with tasks such as eating or taking medicine.
