About Marissa

With eight years of experience as a childcare provider, my passion is in supporting families and creating a nurturing environment for children. I have experience caring for 4 children at a time, and age ranges from 7 months to age 10. I have cared for children with severe peanut allergies, and I am comfortable with administering an epipen, if needed. I am also a 20 year volunteer with Special Olympics Maryland, so I am comfortable interacting and caring for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I enjoy engaging children in both educational and fun activities, such as board games, puzzles, and technology-based games. I value open communication. My ability to comfortably enforce household rules ensures a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. With previous CPR training and First Aid certification, I am well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care for both children and their families.
