Mari is unparalleled!! Your kids will have won the lottery if they are lucky enough to spend time with Mari. I could sing her praises endlessly but for the sake of brevity: she is incredibly thoughtful and kind, and cares for our children the way she cares for her own children. She is loving, gentle but practical, and teaches them - from the moment we started working together when our daughter was 8mo old, she was counting with her and teaching her to say new words, and it has never ended from there - she’s always engaging the (now two) kids in the next thing they should be learning like spelling their name, learning manners, and explaining to them what’s going on around them. She is always suggesting new ways to delight and excite them every day whether that’s music class, a new playground, going to a playroom or arranging for them play with other kids. Mari has gone out of her way to help us when we needed it, and we have been able to rely on her as a reliable, steady part of our lives while we experienced a lot of change as a family. She is not just an amazing caregiver, she is an amazing human being and you’ll be lucky to work with her and know her!
