About Maria

Thank you for your interest in my page! I'm Maria, a fun and encouraging childcare professional seeking a position teaching Private Dance Lessons (Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop) and Academic Tutoring, specializing in English, Reading, Science, Biology and homework help. I currently work as a teacher at a children's dance studio part time where I teach various styles of dance and work with children of all ages, including those with special learning challenges. I also travel to Elementary schools in my community to instruct dance through Funky Divas and Dudes. I have a Bachelor's Fine Arts in Dance, a Preschool Teaching certificate and am First Aid & CPR certified. I will make learning fun with crafts, art projects and games.
