Hello, my name is Maria and I am excited to be offering my tutoring services to families in Hampton Roads! I am a strong believer in the power of routine and positive affirmation, and I love to work with kids of all ages! I have tutored at elementary and middle schools throughout high school and college. Through these experiences, I was trained in a number of behavioral and teaching strategies. I also worked as a camp counselor at a camp for children with special medical needs (ages 7-17), where I was trained in not only first aid and basic medical care, but also learned quite a few fun activities and songs!! I am a senior in college at William and Mary studying neuroscience, and have experience tutoring others in reading, math, writing, science, and history. I look forward to working with families in Hampton Roads!
